FexFund — Review

This program stopped PAYING! Do not invest there!

FexFund went online just a week or so ago on April 28.  It is the internet arm of Fex Trade LTD and handles investor funds that are used by the parent company in their cryptocurrency and Forex trading activities.  According to their website, “We are investing mostly in crypto currencies, looking for great opportunities on their exchange rate fluctuation. These days value of crypto currencies can change rapidly, giving experienced investors a huge income. We are also trading on Forex market where there are still a lot of opportunities to maximize investor’s profit.”

FexFund offers three different plans for the private investor.  Following is a summary of them taken directly from the company website.  I note that the summary is exceptionally clear; the investor doesn’t have to struggle at all to understand how the plans work.  This isn’t always the case with other HYPs.

As implied in the foregoing summary, you can invest in either US dollars or in Bitcoin.  There is no conversion back and forth between them.  So, changes in the exchange rate between the two currencies do not come into the picture at all.

The first of the FexFund investment plans, the Starter plan, is short term — only seven days — and pays 9% net profit at the end of the investment term.  So, as an example, if you invested $100, you would get back $109 a week later.  Interest is NOT paid daily; you have to wait till the end of the week to get paid.  Nine percent in seven days is a reasonable rate.  That comes to almost 1.3% per day if you prefer to think in terms of daily interest rates.  As far as HYIPs go, this is a reasonable rate and one that could possibly be sustained for a long time.  Oftentimes the interest rates offered in short term plans such as this are sky-high, a sure sign that the program won’t last very long.

The second and third investment plans are medium term, one running for 20 days and the other running for 30.  The shorter one pays 6% interest per day while the longer one pays 5%.  In both cases, your principal is included as part of your interest earnings which are paid to you on a daily basis.  Let’s do a numerical example to see how this works out.  This time we’ll put our $100 in the Medium plan paying 6% interest for 20 days.  In this case you will earn $6 per day, giving a total return of $120 by the end of the 20 day period.  Since your principal is included in this, your net profit is $20, which is 20% of the amount you invested.  This all checks out with the summary above.  In this plan, you would break even in 17 (100/6) days, only three days before the end of the investment term.  One final thing: since you earned 20% net profit in 20 days, this comes to 1% per day in case you like to translate everything to how much net profit you are earning on a daily basis.  This is somewhat less than the short term plan which we looked at previously which calculated out to almost 1.3% per day.  So, comparing the two plans, it would seem to be a better deal to use the short term plan three times, successively, giving a total of 21 days (just about the same as the Medium plan for 20 days).  Three investments in the short term plan would give you a total net return of 27% (3 x 9%) compared to 20% for the Medium plan.

Finally, let’s take a quick look at the third plan, the Investor plan, which pays 5% per day for 30 days.  First of all, still thinking about daily interest rates, notice in the chart that the net profit for this plan is 50%.  Since the plan runs for 30 days, the effective daily profit is around 1.7% (50/30).  So, with everything translated to a daily basis, this is the most lucrative plan.  As a note, it can sometimes be confusing to compare different investment plans.  If possible, the key is to reduce all plans to the SAME BASIS — in this case, daily interest rate.  So, even though the second plan offers a higher interest rate than the third, it isn’t the better program because the investment terms are different too.  OK, if we put our $100 in the third plan, we earn $5 per day and will break even in 20 (100/5) days, a few days longer than the break even time for the Medium plan.  However, since this plan runs for 30 days, there is another 10 days left during which you are making “pure” profit.  So, the longer term is why the third plan is the most lucrative — even though the interest rate is lower.  I hope this made sense as it is very important.  A final point is that the minimum investment for all these plans is quite reasonable.  So, no one is locked out of the most lucrative plan.  This is frequently the case with many other HYIPs.

As already indicated FexFund operates in both US dollars and Bitcoin; it does not recalculate Bitcoins to dollars. When you invest with Bitcoin, you earn with Bitcoin and you withdraw Bitcoin. For dollars, you can use the PerfectMoney, AdvCash, and the Payeer payment systems.  According to the FexFund website, “all payments on the site are made instantly. If, for some reason, withdrawals cannot be made instantly (e.g. in cases of payment processor API outage) they will be paid out within 24 hours. You can also check your withdrawal history for payment batch ID’s to track your payments.”  In the case of Bitcoin, there will be the inherent delays associated with the verification process.  The minimum withdrawal amounts are $1 and 0.001 BTC.

Any registered member of FexFund can earn a 5% commission on deposits of people that he refers to the program.  You do not have to have a deposit yourself in order to receive this benefit.  This commission is raised to 10% for Representatives of FexFund.  Until just recently, you had to have an active deposit of $500 in order to qualify to become a Rep.  However, recognizing that there are folks who are good recruiters and who may not want to invest themselves, this requirement was just removed.  There are a number of other benefits of being a Rep as well as certain requirements in order to obtain this status.  The following is taken from the very informative FAQ section of the FexFund website:

A representative is a person who is representing our site on the internet. It has several privileges and several required duties as well.

Representatives privileges:

  • 10% commission from affiliates.
  • Possibility to get free referrals; we will be doing draws of upline for all users who sign up with no referrals.
  • Representatives are listed on the main page, along with their contact data and sign up link, so users visiting our Representative page can pick you as their upline.
  • Direct, quick communication with administration.

Representatives duties:

  • Representatives must provide at least email support for their uplines, phone support is seen as an added advantage when applying for a representative position.
  • They might be required to take part in short text or video conferences with administration.
  • They are obliged to advertise our site on social media.
  • They are obliged to keep up to date with all the site’s news.

At first I had trouble understanding the support system for FexFund.  However, within a minute or two I discovered that there is an icon on the upper right corner of all pages of the website that takes you to the support center where you can fill out a support ticket.  This ticketing procedure is more formal that many other HYIPs in that your ticket will be assigned a number and I gather that you can check the status of it at any time.  It looks like there is also a live chat feature during selected hours. But, when I wrote this review, no one was online to talk.  However, it is easy to leave a message.

FexFund.net

In closing, FexFund is a very clearly written investment program featuring three plans having interest rates in the range that give this program the potential for long term success.  So, you might want to seriously consider adding FexFund to your investment portfolio.  However, as always, we recommend that you diversify your portfolio by including a number of other programs as well.  And, never invest more than you can afford to lose.  Good Luck!
