A Very Important Step Forward.
Way back in February, 2017, we published HYIP Insights #2 that featured an article entitled, “Language!” (you can read the article here). It was all about a problem that investors so often encounter when reading an HYIP website. The English in the website can be TERRIBLE! Often times, it is so bad that the reader has trouble understanding what the writer is trying to say. Well, what an HYIP puts in writing on its website is usually all that the investor knows about the company that he is thinking of investing with. When the English is lousy, no matter how good the investment opportunity might sound, this potential investor will probably come to one of the following two conclusions:
- The company is run by a bunch of dummies
- The company can’t afford to hire a good translator
Either conclusion is bad news for the HYIP and I cannot understand why online investment companies allow translations of their website to appear that are not PERFECT.
So, we are very happy to learn that Doubly (reviewed here) is taking measures to upgrade existing translations of its website into different languages. Perhaps they read our HYIP Insights article? Doubly now is one of our premier programs and the English used in their website is pretty good. It can still be improved and it is good to know that they realize the importance of this issue. A smooth translation helps the investor understand what the company is all about and it also paints a favorable picture of the company’s administration — not to mention its true level of success.
