This is a continuation of the review of Ethtrade that I began yesterday. Today I’d like to cover the rather unique referral program offered by Ethtrade as well as a few other things.
The special thing about the Ethtrade referral program is that you not only earn from deposits of people in your downline, you also earn from the PROFITS made by those people. I have not heard of this before. Furthermore, the percents you earn in both categories increase with the size of your portfolio. There are five statuses. You are eligible for the first status upon registering, whether or not you make a deposit. It pays bonuses of 3, 2, and 1 percents on your first three lines for deposits and 3, 1, and 1 percents on your first three lines for earnings. You move up to the second status if your portfolio is at least $500. This status pays bonuses of 7, 5, and 1 percents for deposits and 5, 3, and 1 percents for earnings. The third status requires a portfolio of at least $3,000 and pays bonuses of 10, 3, 1, 1, and 1 percents for deposits on FIVE lines and 7, 3, 3, 1, and 1 percents on earnings, again on five lines. There are still two more lucrative statuses for holders of even larger portfolios. Check the Ethtrade website for info on them. So, the conscientious recruiter can make a significant amount of money on referral bonuses.
Bitcoin is used for both investments and payments. However, it is also possible to invest in USD or by means of any of the popular payment systems by making use of Ethtrade’s own currency exchange called ETHEX. Only minimal commissions are charged when exchanging to different payment systems and cryptocurrency. There is detailed information on this in the FAQ.
Processing of withdrawals is a bit on the slow side — three to five working days. Processing Bitcoin transactions is always slow. I suspect that withdrawals are manual and that Ethtrade is giving themselves some slack in case an unforeseen delay occurs. It is probably better to do this than to make promises that will have to be broken in the future.
It is possible to automatically reinvest your profits (compounding) for faster growth of your portfolio. Interest earnings can be withdrawn at any time without penalty.
In addition to the very extensive FAQ section, it is also possible to get more personal help by means of chat as well as by the typical email request. I found that connection to chat support was very quick. However, in one case, I was disconnected a number of times and had to give up. In another case, the agent was clearly Chinese and had difficulty with the English language. However, chat is certainly worth a try. Use email as a backup. For social media fans, there is a Facebook community that is available to help.
In general, I am extremely impressed by the wealth of information available on the Ethtrade website. This review doesn’t begin to describe it all. Two items specifically impressed me. First, there are downloads and videos specifically related to Ethtrade and Ethereum as well as to cryptocurrencies and their use, trading, etc. A lot of this information is useful to anyone new to cryptocurrencies as well as to potential investors in Ethtrade. This information is available in the “Education” page of the website. Second, Ethtrade is very active in promotional efforts in many parts of the globe. This is reported on in the “News” page of the website. This promotion can only help improve the chances of greater longevity for the program.
In closing, although I am obviously impressed by what I have learned about Ethtrade, and even though it might be classed as a long term HYIP, one should always be cautious in committing funds to any investment of this type. Take the time to study the Ethtrade website and carefully weigh the potential rewards and risks of investing with them. Good luck!
