Zonders Presents Report on Petroleum Futures.
Zonders (reviewed here) just published a news release describing their participation in the recent Middle East Petroleum and Gas Conference that took place in Dubai. Surprisingly, the release didn’t give the name of the Zonders’ presenter nor is there a listing of someone from Zonders on the list of speakers on the conference website (www.mpgc.cc). However, the news release on the Zonders website contains numerous photos from the conference. Perhaps, the Zonders‘ speaker was a last-minute addition to the speaker list? Aside from this intrigue, this appears to have been a major conference that most people in the west will be unaware of. The Zonders news release contains some information about it. Perhaps a better source of information is the conference website.

In Dubai at the InterContinental Dubai Festival City hotel, the famous MPGC Week was held from 6 to 11 April 2019 with traditional success – it is the week of petroleum and gas, covering a series of international petroleum and gas conferences, including the cult Middle East Petroleum&Gas Conference.
The 27th conference was devoted to discussing the ongoing instability and supply uncertainty faced by global petroleum markets. Among the topics discussed were fluctuations in crude oil prices, changes in the structure of the liquefied natural gas (LNG) market, the relationship between OPEC, the increase in US petroleum and gas production and recent sanctions.
