A Very Unique Program.
Caribbean Dream (reviewed here) recently posted a very brief news item on their website indicating that they have been online for 101 days. Any HYIP that remains in business for more than three months is doing well. So, congratulations to Caribbean Dream for sticking with us for this long. However, this said, if you take a look at our review of the program, this might not be that surprising. With only a single investment plan that pays a modest (sensible!) daily interest rate of 1%, we predicted that the chances for long term survival of this program are high. The plan is 20 days long; so, many investors have cycled through it (maybe multiple times) since the program has been online.
There is something else about Caribbean Dream that is very unusual. The maximum investment in their single investment plan is only $300. Compare this to other HYIPs with maximum investments of hundreds of thousands of dollars. I have even seen maximums as high as a million dollars! So, what is going on with this very unusual program? We at EmilyNews think of it as a “Sleeper” meaning that the administrators of the program might be thinking of bigger and better things for the program in the future. However, only time will tell and we must emphasize that, in the HYIP business, truly anything can happen. Expecting the unexpected is the name of the game! But, let’s hope that Caribbean Dream will be with us for another three months — or maybe a lot longer.
Caribbean Dream remains a very intriguing program. We are curious what the future holds for it. Here is what we said about the program in our “First Thoughts” article. It pretty much echoes my thoughts above.
Caribbean Dream is also unique in that it has one of the most modest investment programs I have ever seen. It consists of only ONE investment plan which pays 1% daily for 20 business days and returns your investment at the end of the plan. What could be simpler? And, finally, the investment limits for this plan are from $10 to $300. Wow! How does that compare with plans having investment limits starting at $10,000 or higher and going as high as $50,000 or even more? Perhaps Caribbean Dream is only getting warmed up and will come up with more ambitious investment plans in the future. But, at least for now, it looks like they are thinking SMALL with a clear intent of being around for a long long time to come.
