Bittank Offers Explanation.
As many of you already know, two days ago, Bittank announced that it had experienced a “System Failure” that was preventing them from making cashouts. Many of us in the HYIP industry feared that this announcement foretold the closing of the program — especially since Bittank also indicated that investors could still make new deposits into the program. Well, we were happy to receive the latest announcement from Bittank indicating that they have found the cause of the problem and are taking measures to correct the situation such that a repeat occurrence will be highly unlikely. Following I am reprinting the series of Bittank announcements on this situation. We didn’t reprint the earlier announcements of the system failure. The more recent announcements are first.
25-01-2018 – Site update
We now have a status over the damage and able inform you what really happen two days ago.
We had to keep the real reason silent until investigation and monitoring was complete.
Two days ago we observed a dramatic cashout on our intern stat approximate 170000 USD more than the daily normal flow.
Our action was prompt disable cashout and server team called in to investigate and monitoring behavior while support team started look thought cashout transactions one by one.
For good reason we did not publish this info as this would alarm the wrong-doers and then not possible monitoring the activity fully with risk never to find the cause.
We have now been able find out how they did it and our developers are working on rebuilding the cashout function and pages.
Expected one day work more and some testing.
Support team is about half way finding the accounts who was able force large cashout sizes with so far found several hundreds member account and still counting.
I am not particular proud that this could occur even our effort fight of attacks and hackers since start has been continually ongoing we have been on top all the time.
But now some succeeded find a way through.
I am just glad action was taken this fast and only a small part of 170k lost. This can maybe sound like a big amount but it is actually not more than what the coin balance move daily as the rate change. So I can assure you it has no inflict on the cash-flow or the business itself.
Now we are waiting the developers finish their job and support team get though last half of member account. Please expect two more days waiting.
I am aware this is very unpleasant for many, but soon we are done we can open the cashout normal and send the waiting cashout using the API.
A few has asked the question why we not just make payment manually.
The answer is simple. We simply are not able pay manually 7000 transactions per day one by one. Moreover all team are busy look though all member accounts.
Please allow us complete this job and come back on track fast possible.
Our truly deepest apologies to all our miners for the interruption.
24-01-2018 – System Failure
Yesterday we encountered an error on the system and waiting requested help to finish solve it.
The error affect transactions for cash out what are set to HOLD until problems are solved.
You are still able to request your cash out, just expect a few days delay until we solved the issues on transactions.
Since deposit and cash out are two separate parts you are still able purchase your mining plan either by using earnings or new deposit.
Mining runs on their own systems and continues generate your earnings unaffected for any of this.
Please do not submit ticket on this issue but let us use that time efficient to solve the problems.
We do anything in our power to get all system fully operational again.

We have encountered an error on the system few hours ago and waiting requested help to solve it.
We do currently not know the cause of this but expect it is server related.
