Bitcoin Network Causing Problems Again.
A many of you know, Bitcoin is going absolutely crazy these days. Of course, that means much more activity on the Bitcoin network. So, there will naturally be longer turn-around times between when a transaction is initiated and when funds finally reach the recipient. In addition, Colobit (reviewed here) reports on something else that is aggravating the problem. Apparently, some of their members are breaking up their withdrawal requests into 20 or 30 parts! Needless to say, the network now has to handle all these extra transactions — instead of only ONE. And, of course, this only worsens a situation that is pretty bad already. So, if you are one of the people that are doing this, for everyone’s sake in addition to your own, do your business in one transaction! I don’t see any sense at all in making the additional work.
In light of this situation, Colobit has revised their FAQ to account for the fact that there might be unanticipated delays in processing transactions. The complete details are given in the update that appears below.
