Guess the Price of Bitcoin on December 9 and Win a Prize!
A few days ago, we announced Bitcy’s contest that offers prizes for the closest guesses to the price of Bitcoin on December 9 at 12:00 GMT. Well, Bitcy (reviewed here) just announced on Facebook that they are increasing the number of prizes they are offering. So, there are more chances to win!
The contest ends a week or so from now. However, it seems to me that the best bet is to wait till close to the deadline to make your guess so you are assured that you will be in the right ballpark with your prediction. Bitcoin is very volatile and anything can happen in a week. However, be careful as there are other conditions that you must fulfill in order to be eligible to win. These could take you a bit of time (maybe even a day or so) to get squared away. It would be a heart-breaker if you had the winning guess but you failed to fulfill one of the eligibility conditions.
The first prize in the contest is 0.03 BTC ($300 for a Bitcoin value of $10,000). I think that should make it worth your while to take a guess — and to fulfill the other eligibility conditions. The second prize is 0.02 BTC and the third through 23rd prizes are 0.005 BTC (around $50) which is still worth the effort it will take to enter.
