“Secure Fund” at Biostry.
Oftentimes, HYIPs have started up reserve funds that supposedly protect their investors in case the company experiences hard financial times. Well, it looks like Biostry (reviewed here) has set up such a fund. A recent news release from Biostry announced this. However, there isn’t any information in the release as to how the Fund will be administered. By that I mean information as to who will get what if Biostry does, indeed, have problems and it becomes necessary to distribute the money in the Fund. Unfortunately, experience tells us that 99% (maybe 100%!) of all HYIPs will ultimately close their doors. So, it is a FACT that this Fund will be used. Biostry therefore owes its investors an explanation of how the fund will work. Typically when an HYIP stops paying its investors and closes its doors, it will stop replying to support requests and/or its website will simply disappear. When Biostry closes, will it be different than the rest and hang around to distribute the money in its “Secure Fund?” I sincerely hope this will be the case. We shall see…
In recent News Commentary #200 (that you can read here), I briefly discussed the investment plans offered by Biostry. The company might be unique as the plans range from very long (perpetual! Nothing could be longer than that!) to very short (only seven days long!). I pointed out that the interest rate paid by the perpetual plan is reasonable while the interest paid by the short-term plan might be slightly high. However, since it IS short term, risk is minimized as your funds are not tied up for a very long time. The Biostry release that I’ve reprinted below announces their new “Secure Fund.” It also reminds us about their referral contest that we also described in News Commentary #200. Finally, there is a note that, during the referral contest, there is a 5% bonus on new deposits.
