Conferences in Indonesia and Philippines.
As you realize by now, Hooplex (reviewed here) is very active in promoting its program in southeast Asia. We failed to report on a conference they held in Banjarbaru, Indonesia, on July 13. As you know, Hooplex has been especially active in Indonesia and has held numerous conferences there. Here is a brief news release from them describing this conference.

Hooplex also held a conference in Manila, in the Philippines, on July 26. This was their first conference in the Philippines. We will do our best to publish their report on this conference as soon as they release it.
It is sometimes hard for us to keep up with Hooplex as they only announce forthcoming conferences a few days before their scheduled date. This doesn’t make too much sense to me as everyone pretty much has their weekly schedule mapped out. It would seem to me that, if Hooplex is serious about attracting its online followers to their conferences, they would announce them at least TWO weeks in advance. I hope that someone from Hooplex is reading this…
