Since our recent relocation of the head office to Bank street, the Bitero support team has been receiving an influx of questions about the reason behind our address change. In this article we will share the simple truth behind the subject.
SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES
Nobody could have anticipated how far-reaching the effects of coronavirus would be on almost every aspect of our personal and professional lives. The pandemic has undeniably made us think about how we live, socialise, and work in a different light.
During the formative months leading up to the registration of Bitero, the topic of workplace was actively under discussion around the globe. With so many businesses required to work remotely under government guidelines, re-evaluating what we (and our team) want and need from our office was an opportunity to cut starting costs for the business. The Bitero management decided upon registering within a smaller, readily available address and then expand through a flexible office space strategy.
FLEXIBLE OFFICE SPACE
Traditionally, businesses would be required to commit to long leases for 5-10 years. Flexible office space, on the other hand, can be rented for anything from a month to 5 years—enabling businesses to take workspace only for as long as they need. This enables them to grow, shrink, move, and adapt at their own pace, and not be tied down for years to come.
We chose this approach to be as agile as possible in a period of history that is so unpredictable, with constant changes in regards to communal workspace permissions. Using flexible office spaces allows us to cut down costs in the long term while minimizing our upkeep management efforts in the short term. The corporate office in Bank Street is the first step in an effort to transition employees from home based work back to working on site in the office, and thus facilitate quicker collaboration between branches of the company.

From day one Bitero has been managed in a way that is geared towards maximum profitability and effectiveness. A flexible approach to offices allows us to ensure the safety of our employees without jeopardizing the cost effectiveness of the business itself, and quickly regulate our approach according to new regulations if and when they arise.
