Vekx – Review Part 1

The Vekx Investment Plans.

In our recent “First Thoughts” article introducing the Vekx online investment program, we introduced their investment plans in the following way:

For the investor, Vekx offers six investment plans.  All of them return your investment at the end of the investment plan.  The three that are listed on the website and provide a daily return.  The three that are not listed do not provide a return until after the plan is complete.  So, we refer to them as “after” plans.

Profits from the three investment plans that pay a daily return are very good.  Also, the minimum investments that they require are reasonable so that almost any investor should be able to afford them.  Profits for the three “after” plans are much higher.  However, the minimum investments for these plans are, likewise, much higher — so much so that they will probably be out of reach of most online investors.

Here are more details about the six investment plans:

  • Starter Plan
  • 1.7% daily for 21 days
  • $20 – $15,000
  • Bronze Plan
  • 2.0% daily for 200 days
  • $50 – $10,000
  • Gold Plan
  • 3.75% daily for 30 days
  • $700 – $50,000
  • Premium Plan
  • 350% after 75 days
  • $3,000 – $25,000
  • Global Plan
  • 455% after 60 days
  • $5,000 – $80,000
  • Standard VIP
  • 800% after 130 days
  • $10,000 – $150,000

Analysis of the Vekx Investment Plans.

Let’s begin our analysis of the Vekx investment plans by determining how long it takes each of them to break even.

Looking at the Starter Plan, and dividing 100% by the daily interest of 1.7%, you get that it would take 59 days for the plan to break even.  However, the plan is only 21 days long.  So, you will simply break even when the plan ends and your investment is returned to you at that time.  You will have recovered a little of your investment by then since you are earning 1.7% per day.  Multiplying the daily return of 1.7% by the 21 day length of the plan, you can see that you will have recovered 35.7% (21 x 1.7) of your investment before the plan ends and your investment is returned to you.  Moving on to the Bronze Plan, if you divide 100% by the 2% daily interest, you get that it will take 50 days of the plan to break even.  Well, this is a long-term plan — 200 days — and you will therefore break even well before it ends.  Finally, looking at the Gold Plan and dividing 100% by the 3.75% daily interest rate, you find out tat the plan breaks even in 27 days, a few days before it ends after 30 days and your investment is returned to you.

Next, let’s determine the average daily net interest (DNI) that you will earn from each of these three investment plans.  For this type of plan, where your investment is returned to you at the end of the plan, this is extremely easy to do.  Since your investment is returned, the implication is that the daily interest that you are paid is your daily net profit — or DNI.  So, no calculation is required.  Remember that DNI is the total net profit that an investment plan pays you averaged out over its length.  Again, for these plans, because of the way they are set up, the daily return happens to equal the DNI.  This is not always the case.

Here are our results in summary form:

  • Plan                 DNI                  Days to break even
  • Starter             1.7%                21 days (the end of the plan)
  • Bronze             2.0%                50 days
  • Gold                 3.75%              27 days

Next, let’s take a look at the three “after” plans.  To repeat, we call them “after” plans because the investor doesn’t receive interest or have his investment returned until “after” the plan ends.  Note that, at least at present, these plans aren’t listed in the website.  You have to register for the program first.  Then, the information about them is available in your account page

As far as breakeven points are concerned, since you don’t receive even a penny until a plan ends, that’s obviously when you will break even.  Concerning DNI, these plans appear to be a little bit different that the typical “after” plan that HYIPs offer in that your investment is returned IN ADDITION TO your final return, not as part of it.  So, the final return is NET rather than GROSS profit.  Therefore, to get DNI, you average this total net profit out over the length of the investment plan.  For the Premium Plan, averaging the 350% total net interest out over the 75-day length of the plan, you get a DNI of 4.67% (350/75).  Doing this same arithmetic for the two other “after” plans, you get the following:

  • Plan                 DNI                  Days to break even (plan length)
  • Premium         4.67%              75 days
  • Global              7.58%              60 days
  • Standard VIP   6.15%              130 days

We’ll discuss our analysis in Part 2 of this review.  Hopefully, we will be able to come to some useful conclusions about the suitability of the Vekx investment plans as a possible money-making opportunity for the online investor.  Please stand by.  Part 2 will be available in a few days.
