The LuxEarn Investment Plans.

In our “First Thoughts” article about LuxEarn, we summarized the company’s investment plans in the following way:

LuxEarn has THIRTY different investment plans!  There are six different groups of plans, each group having five plans in it.  A quick glance tells me that all plans in two of the groups have minimum investments that are way above what the typical online investor will put into an HYIP.  It also looks like the remaining four groups have only a few investment plans with reasonable lower investment limits.  So, although LuxEarn theoretically offers 30 investment plans, only a few of them will make sense for the “typical” online investor.  In addition, LuxEarn introduces a term called “Gain Profit.”  This is the same as compounding and one wonders why this new term was created.  The important thing is that four out of the six groups of investment plans REQUIRE you to fully compound your earnings so that, in these plans, you will not receive any earnings until the investment plan ends.  All this is not to say that the LuxEarn investment plans are universally bad.  Out of the 30 of them, there is still a useful number that would seem to be perfectly OK for the online investor to think seriously about.

Here are the names of the six groups of investment plans.  Remember, there are five plans in each group.

Business
Ordinary
VIP
Royal
Maximum
Exclusive

First of all, I would recommend that investors forget about both the “Maximum” and “Exclusive” groups.  If you look at their plan listings on the website, you will see that the lowest minimum investment among the Maximum plans is $35,000 and the lowest among the Exclusive is $40,000.  We always advise our readers never to invest a lot of money in ANY online investment program unless the program can provide verifiable proof of both its existence and performance.  You would not buy stock in a company unless you were 100% convinced that it is for real.  You should use the same reasoning process when investing in an HYIP — at least when contemplating investing a large sum of money in one of them.

So, we are left with four groups of investment plans to think about.  At this point, I would normally list the website information on the remaining plans.  However, even though we have eliminated 10 of them, 20 are still remaining.  That’s a lot.  So, to save paper, what you will find out if you take a look at the minimum investment limits for plans in these four groups is that there are only five plans with minimum investments less that $20,000.  In fact, all five of these plans have minimum investment limits that are less than $1,000.  So, there is a huge jump as you go from one plan to the next in each group (from a minimum investment of a few hundred dollars to one with more than $20,000).  So, we will only work with these five plans having reasonable minimum investment requirements.

So, for all practical purposes, LuxEarn only offers five usable investment plans.  This is probably more than enough.  After all, the typical HYIP will offer one to, rarely, four or five investment plans.  So, why does LuxEarn offer 25 investment plans, all with excessively high minimum investment amounts?  It is tempting to conclude that the company wants to catch a big fish and then it will close and leave the investor flat.  However, if, indeed, LuxEarn has been online for three years, as their record appears to show, this would seem not to be the case.  But, perhaps in this three-year period, no one has yet taken the bait.  There is no way of knowing.

In looking at the investment plan line-up, it is very important that you understand what is meant by “Gain Profit.”  As we indicated in the “First Thoughts” article, it means “Compounding” and I don’t understand why LuxEarn had to invent a new term for something that online investors are already very familiar with.  Was it done to confuse them?  As you look over the listing of investment plans above, you will see three possibilities:

  1. 100% gain profit: yes
  2. 0 – 100% gain profit: no
  3. 0 – 100% gain profit: yes

In Case #1, which applies to the Royal and Business Groups, whether you want it or not, all of your daily earnings are reinvested in the program and added to your principal.  So, this is 100% compounding.  Every day your principal grows and every day your earnings increase.  Of course, this is a great way to make a lot of money.  However, it is also extremely risky.  If you look at the programs above, this method of compounding is applied to the two groups of programs that are 100 business days long.  That’s equivalent to 140 calendar days which is over four months.  So, in these two investment plans you will not receive any returns at all for over four months.  It is very important to realize this.  How many HYIPs last four months?  LuxEarn has lasted over three years.  Can it last four more months?

Case #2 is the opposite situation; there is no compounding at all.  This applies to the VIP program where, like in Case #1, you don’t receive any returns until after 100 business days — over four months.

In Case #3, you can choose the amount of compounding.  This applies to the two plans in the Ordinary Group.  This group is aptly named as this is the situation that is typical of many other HYIPs.  The plans in the Ordinary Group are also the only ones that will pay you earnings on a daily basis.  As I’ve indicated already, the other three plans hold your interest earnings until the end of the investment plan.  Because the two Plans in the Ordinary Group return your earnings on a daily basis, they might prove to be the most popular.  However, there are other factors involved, not the least of which is profitability.

Finally, again looking at this list of five investment plans, you can see that all of them return your investment at the end of the plans.  This implies that earnings are “pure profit,” assuming that a plan survives its full term.

Well, it has taken a lot of work to just understand how the LuxEarn investment plans work.  This is only the GIVEN information.  Next, we have to ANALYZE the plans to see how they perform.  Finally, we will DISCUSS what we find out and, hopefully, be able to draw some useful CONCLUSIONS about this very interesting investment program.  We will do all this is subsequent parts of this review.  Please stand by…
