Bike for Me is a neat company! They rent bicycles in Holland! Apparently, bicycles are the major method of personal transportation in that country and many people rent bicycles, rather than own them, I guess. This is where Bike for Me comes in. They have rental and service facilities in four locations in Holland and rent a variety of bicycle styles. Their prediction is that the business will grow dramatically and they have started this investment vehicle to raise the funds to enable them to be ready for this growth.

Bike for Me has been online since late December. Although the company is physically located in Holland, the online aspect of it is registered in England. No reason is given for that.

Bike for Me has a single rather unique investment program that, unfortunately, isn’t explained too well in the website. The unique thing about is that the interest rate changes as the days progress. First of all, the minimum deposit is $10 and the maximum is $50,000 and the investment period is 70 days. Now, here’s the interesting part. For the first 10 days, you earn 1%; for the second 10 days, you earn 1.5%; for the third 10 days, you earn 2%; for the fourth 10 days, you earn 2.5%; and, for the final 30 days, you earn 3%. The website uses an investment of $4,000 as an example but doesn’t show the calculation. Let’s work it out so that you can see where the result in the website comes from. For the first 10 days, you will earn $40 per day or $400 for the 10 day period; for the next 10 days, you will earn $60 per day or $600 for the 10 day period; for the next 10 days, you will earn $80 per day or $800 for the 10 day period; for the next 10 days you will earn $100 per day or $1,000 for the 10 day period; and, finally, for the next 30 days, you will earn $120 per day or $3,600 for the 30 day period. Adding the five totals together, you get a grand total of $6,400 which checks with the figure given in the Bike For Me website. At the end of the 70 days, you forfeit your investment. The idea is that it is included in the interest you earn in the 70 day period. So, your profit is $6,400 – $4,000 = $2,400. Your percent profit is 2,400/4,000 or 60%. That’s 60% in a little more than two months. Not too bad…

Since the higher interests don’t kick in till the latter part of the investment period, you won’t break even till somewhat later on. And, the exact day in the program when you will break even is a bit difficult to calculate. However let’s take a crack at it. After the first 40 days in the program you will have earned a total of the first four amounts given in the previous paragraph or $2,800 ($400 + $600 + $800 + $1,000). At this point, you still have to recover $1,200 of your individual investment. However, you’re now earning 3% per day or $120 per day. So, the number of additional days to recover the remaining balance of $1,200 is 1,200/120 or 10 days. Therefore, the total number of days to break even for this investment program (or for any investment) is 50 days (40 + 10). This is the major part of the investment period. So, the nervous investor might do a little bit of nail biting waiting for the 50 days to elapse…

Bike for Me also has an unusual referral program, a potentially lucrative one. For starters, as soon as you register — even if you don’t make a deposit — you are eligible to earn 7% commission on people in your first line and 5% on those in your second line. There are six more statuses of affiliate after that corresponding to higher deposits. At the highest status, your percent earnings will be 11% and 5%! Quite a lot but that takes an investment of $30,000 by you or $100,000 invested in your first line. Intermediate statuses have more moderate requirements. They are all listed on the Bike for Me website.

Bike for Me accepts payments from Advcash, Bitcoin, and Payeer. Withdrawals of earnings are instant and can be made at any time. This is a comforting feature as you can reduce your risk of significant loss by withdrawing your earnings on a regular basis.

For assistance there is a support email address given in the FAQ. Typically, I was unable to get the telegram chat feature to work. There is also a Facebook community where fellow investors gather to share ideas and experiences.

In closing, Bike for Me is an interesting company and you might want to consider adding it to your investment portfolio. However, as is true of all HYIP investments, think carefully beforehand and never invest more than you can afford to lose. Good luck!
