The PrimeTech Investment Plan.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In our recent \u201cFirst Thoughts\u201d article about PrimeTech<\/a>, we gave a very complete description of the company\u2019s investment plan.\u00a0 I\u2019ll simply repeat it here\u2026<\/p>\n

For the online investor,\u00a0PrimeTech\u00a0<\/a>offers one very easy-to-understand investment plan.\u00a0 It pays 7% daily interest for 30 days and returns your investment as part of your interest returns.\u00a0 The minimum investment is only .001 BTC.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Analysis of the PrimeTech Investment Plan.<\/strong><\/p>\n

When analyzing an investment plan, we typically determine when it breaks even as well as the average daily net interest (DNI) that you will receive from it.\u00a0 In case the term \u201cDNI\u201d is confusing to you, this is simply the total net interest (sometimes we call this \u201cpure profit\u201d) that an investment plan pays you AVERAGED OUT OVER THE LENGTH OF THE PLAN.\u00a0 So, if, on the average, one plan pays you 2% net interest per day and another plan pays you 4% net interest per day, it should be clear that the second investment plan is twice as profitable as the first.<\/p>\n

With this as an introduction, let\u2019s first determine the number of days that it will take the PrimeTech<\/a> investment plan to break even.\u00a0 Dividing 100% by the 7% gross return, you find that you will break even in 15 days — which is halfway through the program. \u00a0The total GROSS interest that you will receive from PrimeTech<\/a> equals the daily gross interest of 7% times the 30-day length of the investment plan.\u00a0 The result is 210%.\u00a0 Subtracting 100% from this because it includes your investment, we get that the total NET interest you will receive is 110%.\u00a0 Last, and most important, averaging this out over the 30-day length of the investment plan by dividing by 30, we get a DNI of 3.67%.<\/p>\n

Discussion.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In favor of this investment plan is that it has a sensible length (30 days) and that it breaks even very quickly — in only 15 days, which is exactly halfway through the plan.\u00a0 So, breaking this down some more, by the time a week has elapsed, you have recovered half of your investment.\u00a0 Then, after two weeks (15 days), you have broken even.\u00a0 And, after that, everything you earn will be \u201cpure profit.\u201d\u00a0 So, the structure of this investment plan is such that it should appeal to a wide range of investors.\u00a0 In addition, because of the low minimum investment requirement, no one is excluded.<\/p>\n

The problem with this investment plan is that it might be TOO nice.\u00a0 With a DNI of 3.67%, the program is promising the investor an average weekly net profit of around 25% (3.67 x 7).\u00a0 In HYIP Insights #12<\/em><\/a>, we suggested that programs offering investment plans with DNIs higher than 2% might be at risk of premature closure.\u00a0 It\u2019s nice to make a lot of money.\u00a0 However, more important might be the ability of an investment program to survive in the long term.\u00a0 So, the potential investor in Primetech <\/a>should exercise due caution before putting his hard-earned money into this plan.<\/p>\n

Of course, this is only our opinion and we would love to be proven wrong.\u00a0 Perhaps the folks at PrimeTech<\/a> have things worked out such that they are confident in their ability to sustain interest payments at their advertised rate.<\/p>\n

I will note that PrimeTech <\/a>is one of a number of Telegram bots that are becoming increasingly common.\u00a0 Without exception, all of them appear to offer investment rates that are significantly higher than those offered by the classical HYIP.\u00a0 A few of these bots have performed well.\u00a0 Many, unfortunately, have closed prematurely.\u00a0 It would be nice to see a new era in HYIPs that is more profitable than what we have seen in the past — but which also provides the investor with a long-term source of passive income.\u00a0 In HYIP Insights #26<\/em><\/a>, we proposed a number of \u201cRules\u201d that HYIP administrators should follow.\u00a0 First on the list was a commitment to designing long-lived investment plans — plans that enable the investor to come out ahead while still enabling the program to make reasonable profits.\u00a0 This is the key\u2026<\/p>\n

Earnings Example.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Let\u2019s assume an investment of $500 in the investment plan.\u00a0 Every day you will receive 7% of this or $35 (.07 x 500).\u00a0 You can see that, after 15 days, you will have received $525 (15 x 35) and will have broken even.\u00a0 By the end of the plan, after 30 days, you will have received a total of $1,050 (30 x 35), for a net profit of $550 (1,050 \u2013 500).\u00a0 So, you roughly double your money in 30 days — one month.\u00a0 Seems like a pretty good deal to me.<\/p>\n

Conclusions.<\/strong><\/p>\n

PrimeTech <\/a>offers one easy-to-understand investment plan.\u00a0 It is very lucrative, pays interest daily, and breaks even halfway through its 30-day term.\u00a0 Because of the high interest that it pays, it might be a risky venture.\u00a0 So, the program probably will primarily be of interest to the more adventuresome investor.\u00a0 It probably will not be the \u201ccup of tea\u201d for the investor looking for a dependable long-term source of passive income.<\/p>\n
