A Massive DDOS Attack?<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the past few days, many readers have contacted us indicating that Triton Plus<\/a> (reviewed here<\/a>) has not processed their withdrawal requests.\u00a0 We, in turn have contacted Triton Plus<\/a> in an effort to determine what the problem is and to see if they expect to be able to resume operations on a normal basis.\u00a0 They have responded with a lengthy explanation of experiences they claim to have had with hacking attempts and how they are hoping to be back to normal in the near future. According to the explanation below and a later update from the Admin on chat, they are planning to fix ALL pending withdrawals by 1 – 2 p.m. GMT on Monday (today). So we have yet a bit of time to wait and see whether this is just words and program will be moved to “Closed” status\u00a0 or if the Admin is one of those rare admins who really fights for the survival of his program. Following is the explanation from\u00a0\u00a0Triton Plus<\/a>:<\/p>\n

1. We were attacked by a powerful DDOS attack on March 14, 2019 at 1:05 PM (GMT) The attack was organized by the group, let’s call it “hackers” who want to extort from us the payment of a toll money in a large amount. As an administration, we did not agree to any of the attacks of the attackers and decided to fight them.<\/p>\n

2. The DDOS attack, specifically the SyncFlood attack, which was on a very large scale and hard to detect, completely shut down our website.<\/p>\n

3. Together with the support of our server provider, we tried to restore the site to action. Unfortunately, despite many hours, we lost the fight in the beginning. The solution came only after several hours and finally we won with a group of attackers.<\/p>\n

4. Our information indicates that the attack was ordered by the competition (you can figure out which one) which, overwhelmed by the magnitude of our success, simply wanted to destroy us to take investors on their side.<\/p>\n

5. The same competition rents people who using a telegram and google translator are trying to write private messages to users of our chat every now and then impersonating administrators and proposing strange promotions trying to convince them to deposit money into external bitcoin wallets.<\/p>\n

6. Finally, we restored the functionality of our site on 15 March 2019 at 13:02 (GMT). The payout portfolios worked perfectly, of course we had problems with the number of orders, it was several dozen requests per minute. 7. On 16 March 2019, our payout channels were completely blocked. That’s why we asked our users to understand and pay after 2 PM (GMT) Unfortunately, almost no one applied to our request, and further requests did not allow us to normalize the traffic.<\/p>\n

7. From March 14, 2019, due to attacks, our users’ orders, the resolution of hundreds of pending withdrawals, our team was not able to concentrate on any kind of trading activity. We have not carried out any major activities for over 2 days.<\/p>\n

8. Our company, regardless of some opinions, puts security of users’ resources first. We, like similar programs, do not use other users’ funds to pay interest to others. Therefore, bearing in mind the most reliable of possible patterns, we keep our users’ reserves intact. Jason, in a message to you, asked for 24-48 hours so that we could start working normally.<\/p>\n

9. My request. You have seen our results for the last 32 days. We have completed over 5000, 20-day contracts with a profit of 140% – 180% and carry on. Asking you for understanding. I am sure that none of you would agree to pay the ransom to the blackmailers who attacked our websites. The money for this ransom would have to come from your money. I hope that you will understand this decision and continue with us.<\/p>\n

10. On Monday, we should resolve the issue of the payment of reserve funds and until that time we will perform several transactions that will allow you to complete ALL pending withdrawals.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
