Doubly <\/a>(reviewed here<\/a>) just posted new minimum investment amounts on Facebook.\u00a0 As you may recall, Doubly <\/a>has three investment plans: Standard, Exclusive, and VIP.\u00a0 When we reviewed the program, the minimum investments for each of the three plans were:<\/p>\n

Standard\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 .001 BTC
\nExclusive\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 .025 BTC
\nVIP \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 .500 BTC<\/p>\n

I checked the Doubly <\/a>website right now and the minimums are:<\/p>\n

Standard\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 .004 BTC
\nExclusive\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 .160 BTC
\nVIP \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 1.250 BTC<\/p>\n

These are significant increases over the original.\u00a0 Unfortunately, I don\u2019t know when these increases were made.<\/p>\n

The new minimums that Doubly <\/a>just announced on Facebook and that took effect on February 8 are:<\/p>\n

Standard\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 .006 BTC
\nExclusive\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 .200 BTC
\nVIP \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 1.500 BTC<\/p>\n

So, looking back, you can see that, since the program began, the minimum for the Standard plan has increased by 600%, for the Exclusive plan by 800%, and for the VIP plan by 300%.\u00a0 Well, is this good news or bad?\u00a0 You should ask yourself why this is happening?\u00a0 Why has Doubly <\/a>increased the minimum investments of its investment plans so radically?<\/p>\n

I might be completely wrong on this.\u00a0 However, my guess is SELF PRESERVATION!\u00a0 By increasing minimum investment requirements, fewer people will be able to afford to invest in the higher interest investment plans.\u00a0 This, in turn, will decrease the obligation that Doubly <\/a>has to its investors to pay interest at a high rate.\u00a0 And, this will increase the longevity of the program — which is GOOD!\u00a0 So, although the investor might be tempted to complain about \u201chigher prices,\u201d the motivation behind the increases is to help out the investor.\u00a0 I look on these changes as a sign that Doubly <\/a>is making a sincere effort to protect its program from premature closure.\u00a0 Good for them!<\/p>\n
