Minimums Now More Realistic.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Doubly <\/a>(review here<\/a>) just announced that, effective December 14, it has increased its minimum investment amounts.\u00a0 As you may recall, Doubly <\/a>has three investment plans: Standard, Exclusive, and VIP.\u00a0 The increases apply to all three plans.\u00a0 Here are what the old and new minimums look like side by side:<\/p>\n

\nStandard\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 .004 BTC
\nExclusive\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 .160 BTC

Roughly speaking, the minimums for the Standard and Exclusive investment plans have been increased by a factor of four and the minimum for the VIP plan has been doubled.\u00a0 These sound like huge increases.\u00a0 However, if you put dollar values on them, they aren\u2019t unreasonable at all.\u00a0 For example, assuming that 1 BTC is worth around $4,000, the minimum for the Standard plan has been increased from $4 to $16 and the minimum for the Exclusive plan has been increased from $100 to $640.\u00a0 Certainly, the previous minimum of $4 for the Standard plan was so low that it was almost silly.\u00a0 I am sure that no one will have a problem with the new minimum of $16.\u00a0 For the Exclusive plan, although the new minimum will be beyond the reach of some investors, that\u2019s the way it should be; if an investor would like to earn more, he should be prepared to risk more.\u00a0 That\u2019s the way investment works.\u00a0 Finally, again assuming that 1 BTC is worth around $4,000, the minimum investment for the VIP plan has been increased from $2,000 to $5,000.\u00a0 This is high.\u00a0 However, the return from the VIP plan is also very high.\u00a0 This will limit the number of takers in this plan and, therefore, the obligation of the company to pay a high return to a great number of people.\u00a0 This will greatly increase the odds that the program will be a long-term survivor.<\/p>\n

So, to sum things up, while the percent increases in the minimum investments required for the Doubly <\/a>investment plans might seem high, they are actually more realistic and will probably make for a much healthier program.\u00a0 Let\u2019s hope that our evaluation of these changes is correct and that Doubly <\/a>does, indeed, turn out to be one of the more long-lived investment programs featured on the EmilyNews<\/em> monitor.<\/p>\n
