Source: Cointelegraph\/<\/em><em>TradingView<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>In their latest analysis, pseudonymous trader LP bet on bears winning the battle.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLooking back at previous cycles, bottoms were formed after multiple sweeps of the lows, forcing capitulation before a reversal,\u201d a post on X read.\u00a0<\/p>\n<div data-ct-widget=\"inline-ad\">\u00a0<\/div>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cIn contrast, this cycle has been doing the opposite, consistently sweeping the highs, making it difficult to enter short positions while leaving the lows exposed and building liquidity below.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.cointelegraph.com\/uploads\/2026-04\/019d5d71-6b7a-7d2d-a739-c0201baa4cae.png\" data-ct-img-zoomable=\"\" \/><figcaption><em>BTC price comparison. If price starts repeatedly sweeping the lows, making it psychologically difficult to enter longs, that\u2019s when a true bottom is more likely forming,\u201d they concluded.<\/p>\n<h2>Whales \u201cbuying dips and selling rips\u201d on BTC<\/h2>\n<p>Continuing, Keith Alan, cofounder of trading resource Material Indicators, flagged unusual selling activity despite flat BTC price action.<\/p>\n<div data-ct-widget=\"inline-parallax-ad\">\u00a0<\/div>\n<p><em><strong>Related:\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><em><strong>Bitcoin &#8216;done&#8217; with 85% crashes, says Cathie Wood amid new $34K target<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Uploading a chart of Binance order-book liquidity and volume by investor class, Alan highlighted a bot using time-weighted average price (TWAP) to distribute BTC on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe vertical orange line represents the smallest order class with a TWAP bot selling $18M in an hour,\u201d he explained.\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cThat&#8217;s exponentially more than their normal $3M-$5M daily volume in 1 hr. That ain&#8217;t retail!\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.cointelegraph.com\/uploads\/2026-04\/019d5d70-ac75-7aa3-a080-934836d59f9c.png\" data-ct-img-zoomable=\"\" \/><figcaption><em>Binance BTC\/USDT order-book activity.
