A transition toward a sustained rally must be reflected in liquidity-sensitive indicators, particularly the realized profit\/loss ratio (90-day moving average).\u00a0<\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.cointelegraph.com\/uploads\/2026-01\/019c061e-c1bc-7fd2-ba9c-61a5314e3134.png\" alt=\"Cryptocurrencies, Business, Bitcoin Price, Adoption, Markets, Cryptocurrency Exchange, Price Analysis, Market Analysis, Liquidity\" data-ct-img-zoomable=\"\" \/><figcaption><em>BTC realized profit\/loss ratio (90-DMA) Source: Glassnode<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Strong price recoveries, including mid-cycle recoveries over the past two years, only occurred once the ratio stayed above 5. Such a move has consistently signaled renewed liquidity inflows and capital rotation back into Bitcoin.\u00a0<\/p>\n<div data-ct-widget=\"inline-ad\">\u00a0<\/div>\n<p>Glassnode also highlighted the rising supply stress on BTC. This is less than half the long-term average of around 12,000 BTC, and the lowest level since 2020.<\/p>\n<div data-ct-widget=\"inline-parallax-ad\">\u00a0<\/div>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.cointelegraph.com\/uploads\/2026-01\/019c05fe-06e9-74b1-8884-dc82c73fa7a9.jpg\" alt=\"Cryptocurrencies, Business, Bitcoin Price, Adoption, Markets, Cryptocurrency Exchange, Price Analysis, Market Analysis\" data-ct-img-zoomable=\"\" \/><figcaption><em>Bitcoin BTC inflows for 30DMA. Crypto analyst Darkfost added,<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cThis historically low level of BTC inflows represents a rather positive signal.
