Plus thin market atm so careful with margin positions especially in alts.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Fellow trader HTL-NL hinted that while the market remained unpredictable, the risk of a serious crash was low.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou never know what the W close and next week will bring of course, especially since legacy barely had time to respond to Trump,\u201d he told X followers.\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote data-ct-non-breakable=\"undefined\"><p>\u201cHowever, I am not overly worried. Source: TheKingfisher\/X<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2>Analyst on BTC bull market: \u201cBearish things can happen\u201d<\/h2>\n<p>Caleb Franzen, creator of financial research resource Cubic Analytics, was even more bullish.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Related: <\/strong><\/em><em><strong>Bitcoin\u2019s \u2018macro whiplash,\u2019 Shuffle suffers data breach: Hodler\u2019s Digest, Oct. 5 \u2013 11<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>In his latest Substack post, he eyed Bitcoin\u2019s interaction with its simple (SMA) and exponential (EMA) 200-day moving average.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMaybe prices fall further from here,\u201d he argued.\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote data-ct-non-breakable=\"undefined\"><p>\u201cSimilar to the consolidations that occurred in August-September 2023, July &#8211; September 2024, and February &#8211; April 2025, it would be completely normal for a brief decline below the 200-day MA cloud before a reclaim and trend continuation to new highs.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.cointelegraph.com\/uploads\/2025-10\/0199d85d-996c-77a1-aca5-edff389e4ab5\" alt=\"\" \/><figcaption><em>BTC\/USD one-day chart with 200SMA, 200EMA. Source: Cointelegraph\/TradingView<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Despite that, BTC\/USD could still print a higher low on daily timeframes \u2014 something that Franzen said would leave the uptrend intact.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf uptrends are just the production of higher highs &amp; higher lows, then nothing about this consolidation has invalidated the uptrend,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<blockquote data-ct-non-breakable=\"undefined\"><p>\u201cWhile we must accept that bearish things can happen during uptrends, as this past week proved, it\u2019s also vital to accept that being bearish during an uptrend is a great way to lose money and\/or underperform.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.cointelegraph.com\/uploads\/2025-10\/0199d85c-6819-71a0-bd3e-76e2114a0ff4\" alt=\"\" \/><figcaption><em>BTC\/USD one-day chart.
