The consolidation persisted over the weekend, with the price continuously retesting the support line of the flag.<\/p>\n<p>The bearish continuation will be confirmed once the price breaks below the lower boundary of the flag at $104,800. The pattern\u2019s projected downside target is now sitting near $97,690, measured after adding the height of the initial flagpole to the breakout point.<\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.cointelegraph.com\/uploads\/2025-06\/01972f91-b49f-7ab3-b648-b5f225217b3b\" \/><figcaption><em>BTC\/USD four-hour price chart. Source: CoinGlass<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>For crypto analyst Daan Crypto Trades, the mid-range at $99,600 and the previous all-time high at $108,000 are crucial levels to watch during the first week of June.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think there\u2019s a good chance that the first week is likely a move that can be faded upon seeing the first signs of local reversals\u201d at either of these points, the trader\u00a0said\u00a0in a June 1 post on X.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Related:\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><em><strong>Bitcoin $200K \u2018obvious\u2019 breakout, GameStop\u2019s first BTC buy: Hodler\u2019s Digest, May 25 \u2013 31<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>An accompanying chart showed that a break above $108,000 would see the BTC\/USD pair rise toward its $111,900 all-time high, where it would likely meet strong resistance, occasioning a drop back into the range.<\/p>\n<p data-ct-non-breakable=\"undefined\">Similarly, a break below $99,600 would see the pair drop lower before finding solace from the 200-day simple moving average at $97,600.\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote data-ct-non-breakable=\"undefined\"><p>\u201cNo strong bias toward either direction here, so will just remain nimble and play with what I get.\u201d\u00a0<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.cointelegraph.com\/uploads\/2025-06\/01972f92-19c1-78a9-a790-608c355fc21a\" alt=\"\" \/><figcaption><em>BTC\/USD daily chart. Source: Daan Crypto Trades<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cBTC looks like it has started a larger correction, which is likely to take it into the 2nd week of June,\u201d\u00a0said\u00a0fellow analyst AlphaBTC in a June 2 post on X.<\/p>\n<p>According to the analyst, a breakdown of the bear flag in the four-hour timeframe could see Bitcoin\u2019s price drop toward the $102,000 demand zone. Losing this support would bring the yearly open above $92,000 into the picture.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe question will be what happens at around 92K?\u201d AlphaBTC asked, adding that if it provides a buying opportunity, BTC could rebound from here to initiate a sustained recovery into price discovery.<\/p>\n<p>Conversely, if\u00a0tariff tensions continue, BTC may drop further toward $85,000, as shown in the chart below.<\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.cointelegraph.com\/uploads\/2025-06\/01972f92-542a-70ee-9342-5b2ac047c34a\" \/><figcaption><em>BTC\/USD four-hour chart.
