Second Thoughts on World Mining, Part 2.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The purpose of this article is to offer some insights into the World Mining<\/a> (reviewed here<\/a>) program because it has now been on line for over three months.\u00a0 At the end of the first part of this article (read it here<\/a>) which we published a few days ago, I promised that this second part of the article would be published the next day.\u00a0 But, unfortunately, it looks like this hasn\u2019t happened.\u00a0 So, to refresh your memory, I\u2019m going to repeat the relevant parts from Part 1 of the article so that everything will be in one place and the new material that I add now will make more sense.<\/p>\n

So, to begin, here is the essential information we listed about the World Mining<\/a> investment plans:<\/p>\n

S1
\n0.9%\/day for 360 days
\n$15 \u2013 $2,025<\/p>\n

S2
\n0.96%\/day for 360 days
\n$150 \u2013 $7,500<\/p>\n

S3
\n1.03%\/day for 280 days
\n$900 \u2013 $15,000<\/p>\n

S4
\n1.13%day for 290 days
\n$4,500 \u2013 $150,000<\/p>\n

S5
\n1.3%\/day for 300 days
\n$30,000 \u2013 $300,000<\/p>\n

Next, we listed the value of DNI for each of the plans:<\/p>\n

Finally, we listed the breakeven point for each of the plans:<\/p>\n

In our review of the World Mining<\/a> program, one of the first things we decided was that the S4 and S5 plans would probably be out of reach of most investors.\u00a0 We have no way of verifying whether or not this is what has actually happened.\u00a0 However, many investors sign up for programs via Emily News.\u00a0 I cannot even recall one investment that was made that is over $1,000.\u00a0 However, there might possibly have been one or two that I missed.\u00a0 In the days when I invested a lot in HYIPs, I frequently made investments in the neighborhood of $1,000.\u00a0 However, I would bet money that no investors that are referred by Emily News have ever invested $5,000 or greater— the minimum investments for the S4 and S5 investment plans.\u00a0 So, let\u2019s forget about these two plans in what follows\u2026<\/p>\n

Focusing on Plans S1, S2, and S3, you see that there really isn\u2019t much different about them in so far as the way they perform as investment vehicles.\u00a0 Their DNIs are practically the same at 0.62%. 0.68%, and 0.67% with the DNI for Plan S3 even being a tad LOWER than the DNI for Plan S2. This means that, from the point of view of profitability, the best of the three is Plan S2.<\/p>\n

Focusing on affordability, the minimum investment for Plan S2 is a very reasonable $150.\u00a0 Almost any serious investor can afford that.\u00a0 So, cost should not be an impediment.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s left is a consideration of the breakeven point.\u00a0 This might be the downside of the World Mining<\/a> investment plans, as it is with any plans that pay a low daily gross return.\u00a0 All of the plans take in the neighborhood of 100 days to break even.\u00a0 Although we have monitored World Mining<\/a> for only three months or so, about the time it takes its investment plans to break even, the program has been online since last November, around six months ago.\u00a0 So, even with a three month breakeven point, many World Mining<\/a> investors have not only broken even, some of them might have even doubled their money by now.\u00a0 And, with the long investment terms of the plans, will continue to make profit for months to come.<\/p>\n

Aside from these long breakeven points, the World Mining<\/a> investment plans contain many of the features that we at EmilyNews<\/em> feel characterize a good investment plan (please see HYIP Insights #21<\/em><\/a> for a full discussion of this).\u00a0 They at least illustrate that our suggestion for long-life in an investment plan might truly correspond to plans with DNIs less than 1%.\u00a0 In this program, this relatively low rate of return has\u00a0 served early World Mining<\/a> investors well and will continue to serve them as long as the program is with us.<\/p>\n

What can we learn from all this?\u00a0 For me, the main take-away would be the importance of investing in programs that have plans with sensible DNIs.\u00a0 This eliminates the obligation of the program to pay excessive returns and helps to insure its survivability.\u00a0 DNI is SO important!<\/p>\n
