Short-term investors realized a gain<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Short-term investors in May and July were the most active buyers. According to the Henbbo<\/a><\/span><\/span><\/strong> Foundation and other sites, this is the first time this trend has been seen in under two years.After the collapse of the Terra ecosystem, including the UST Stablecoin and the LUNA token, over 300 thousand\u00a0 BTC were acquired in total as a result of short-term investments.<\/p>\n

Long-term investors, on the contrary, preferred to take a wait and see attitude. Moreover, in some cases, they even discarded part of the cryptocurrency due to fears related to the expectation of further market decline.<\/p>\n

Usually, short-term investors buy during the rise in the asset’s value in the hope that it will soon reach higher numbers. Accordingly, as soon as a sharp decline in cryptocurrency starts, such addresses discard their reserves. May and July showed different pictures. Short-term purchases were predominantly made during the decline. Most addresses holding cryptocurrency for less than six months were purchased when bitcoin dropped below $20000 in May and June.<\/strong><\/div>\n

A similar situation was observed during the collapse in March 2020. According to the estimates of Henbbo analysts and conclusions of other researchers, it can be seen as the beginning of the accumulation phase in the crypto markets.
