{"id":3007,"date":"2018-01-17T04:09:23","date_gmt":"2018-01-17T04:09:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/emilynews.com\/blog\/?p=3007"},"modified":"2018-01-17T04:09:23","modified_gmt":"2018-01-17T04:09:23","slug":"news-commentary-295-flash-octoin-replaces-dollars-octoincoin","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/emilynews.com\/blog\/?p=3007","title":{"rendered":"News Commentary # 295 &#8212; FLASH!\u00a0 Octoin Replaces Dollars with Octoincoin?!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Dollars Earn Octoincoins?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In <em>News Commentary #293<\/em>, I questioned the logic behind <a href=\"http:\/\/emilynews.com\/link.php?id=1154\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Octoin<\/a> revaluing their Octoincoin from $1 to $100.\u00a0 Now, the logic might be clear &#8212; and I don\u2019t like it at all!\u00a0 Here is a small announcement that is now posted on the <a href=\"http:\/\/emilynews.com\/link.php?id=1154\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Octoin<\/a> website:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>Attention!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Starting from January 17, 2018, daily profit accruals for investment portfolios of users, as well as partner bonuses, will be credited in OCC.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>I might have this wrong, but here\u2019s what I think this means.\u00a0 I\u2019ll explain it by means of an example with some made-up numbers just for the sake of illustrating my point.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/octoin.com\/b\/?l=1&amp;u=4569104357&amp;t=5\" width=\"468\" height=\"60\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Let\u2019s suppose that <a href=\"http:\/\/emilynews.com\/link.php?id=1154\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Octoin<\/a> has an investment plan that promises to pay you 2% per day on your investment and that you invest $100 in the plan.\u00a0 This means that you would earn $2 per day in interest earnings.\u00a0 A few days ago, when one Octoincoin (OCC) was worth one dollar, this would be equivalent to earning 2 OCC.\u00a0 This is what I believe the announcement says will be happening from now on.\u00a0 However, since OCC was revalued from $1 to $100 a few days ago, your daily earnings would now be only 0.02 OCC &#8212; a hundred times LESS.\u00a0 It is very important to understand what is happening here.\u00a0 Two things are taking place:<\/p>\n<p>FIRST, your dollars are being converted into Octoincoin.\u00a0 This cryptocurrency might not yet be accepted worldwide and, in some areas, might be difficult to convert back to dollars (or another currency).\u00a0 Just to check this, I did a search of exchangers online and Octoincoin is NOT listed on any of them.\u00a0 My impression is that it is simply the equivalent of children\u2019s \u201cplay money\u201d and that it has no value other than on the <a href=\"http:\/\/emilynews.com\/link.php?id=1154\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Octoin<\/a> website.\u00a0 So, do you want to convert your dollars to play money???<\/p>\n<p>SECOND, in the last day or two <a href=\"http:\/\/emilynews.com\/link.php?id=1154\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Octoin<\/a> has arbitrarily increased the value of Octoincoin one hundredfold.\u00a0 So, when you receive earnings in Octoincoin, you only get one hundredth of what you would have received a few days ago had the revaluation not been made.<\/p>\n<p>Well, this is my opinion on all this.\u00a0 If you have invested in <a href=\"http:\/\/emilynews.com\/link.php?id=1154\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Octoin<\/a>, as thousands of people have, you should be aware of this and you may want to check it out further.\u00a0 Remember, 99% of all HYIPs will close.\u00a0 What will become of Octoincoin if\/when <a href=\"http:\/\/emilynews.com\/link.php?id=1154\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Octoin<\/a> closes?<\/p>\n<p>*********************************<\/p>\n<p>If one of the paying programs on our Monitor appeals to you, please support <em>EmilyNews<\/em> by registering for it on our website.
