Two New Investment Plans Launched!\u00a0 But, Be Careful!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Biostry<\/a> (reviewed here<\/a>) just published a release that has some significant news in it.\u00a0 First of all, they are celebrating 50 days online.\u00a0 That\u2019s a decent accomplishment and it implies, specifically, that a number of people in their 2.4% daily for seven days investment plan have completed at least one full cycle.\u00a0 It also implies that some folks who invested in their \u201cperpetual plan\u201d that pays 2.8% forever have broken even and are now making pure profit.\u00a0 In case you\u2019ve forgotten, that program breaks even in 36 days (Just divide 100% by 2.8% to get that). \u00a0Biostry <\/a>has also added Payeer to their list of payment processors.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

However, by far, the most significant item in the release is the announcement of two new investment plans.\u00a0 Here\u2019s the pertinent information about each of them:<\/p>\n

Advanced Biofuels<\/u>
\n2.8% daily for 14 days
\nPrincipal returned
\n0.3 BTC minimum investment<\/u><\/p>\n

Waste Management and Processing<\/u>
\n148% after 21 days
\nPrincipal included
\n0.4 BTC minimum investment<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s do a quick analysis of these investment plans.\u00a0 First of all, they are both quite expensive to participate in.\u00a0 The value of one Bitcoin is now around $7,000.\u00a0 So, 0.3 BTC is around $2,100 and 0.4 BTC is around $2,800.\u00a0 These amounts are beyond what the typical online investor will deposit in one program.\u00a0 However, there will, of course, be a few folks that will take the risk.\u00a0 Always remember that we advise a diversified portfolio.\u00a0 So, if you invest two or three thousand dollars of your hard-earned cash in one of these plans, you had better also have a similar amount working for you in other programs to enable you to absorb the shock in case one of them crashes!<\/p>\n

But, back to business.\u00a0 In order to compare the profitability of different investment plans, we always calculate their effective daily net interest or DNI.\u00a0 This is the daily profit you make from an investment plan averaged out over the life of the plan — assuming it survives for its full term.<\/p>\n

In the way of a review, it is hard to calculate the DNI of a perpetual investment plan as we don\u2019t know how long the program will survive for.\u00a0 In our review of Biostry<\/a>, we assumed a number of different lifetimes for their perpetual plan and came up with the following results:<\/p>\n

So, at least for the first year of the program, the DNI that Biostry <\/a>is obligated to pay for the perpetual plan is reasonable.\u00a0 Remember that in HYIP Insights #12<\/em> (that you can read here<\/a>), we suggested that programs having investment plans with a DNI of less than 1% are most apt to survive in the long term while those with plans having DNIs greater than 2% are not.\u00a0 Between 1% and 2% is a questionable area that can depend on any one of a number of factors.\u00a0 As time goes on, the effective DNI of this plan will increase until it ultimately peaks out at 2.8%.\u00a0 This is quite high and the program might have trouble sustaining it.\u00a0 All \u201cperpetual\u201d investment plans have the added burden of perpetual payments of interest earnings.\u00a0 A plan with a limited term will end and require the deposit of \u201cnew\u201d money in order for earnings to continue.\u00a0 There is no such relief for this type of investment plan.<\/p>\n

The other existing Biostry<\/a> investment plan pays 2.4% per workday for seven days and then returns your principal at the end of the time period.\u00a0 Assuming the plan runs full term, the DNI will be 1.71% (2.4 x 5\/7).\u00a0 This is slightly high but could be sustainable.\u00a0 However, for as long as the program continues, at least for a year or so, it is more profitable to put your money into this plan that the perpetual plan.\u00a0 You are comparing 1.71% interest with less than that for the first year.<\/p>\n

The new program offering 2.8% for 14 workdays is similar.\u00a0 In this case your DNI jumps up to 2.0% (2.8 x 14\/10) which is slightly more risky but probably still doable.\u00a0 But, assuming the program survives, you will make more.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

Finally, we have the 148% after 21 days program.\u00a0 First of all, this is the most risky type of plan as you don\u2019t receive a penny until the end of the investment plan — in this case, three weeks later.\u00a0 Well, since the 148% includes your deposit, you must subtract 100% to get your net earnings of 48%. \u00a0Averaging this out over the 21-day term of the investment plan, you get a DNI of around 2.29% (49\/21).\u00a0 From the point of view of DNI, this is the most profitable investment plan offered by Biostry<\/a>.\u00a0 However, the DNI is getting into the range that might put the program at risk.\u00a0 Remember that in HYIP Insights #12<\/em>, we suggested that investment plans having a DNI of greater than 2% might be hard for a program to sustain.\u00a0 So, from two points of view, this investment plan is questionable:<\/p>\n

No payment of earnings till its completion
\nA high DNI<\/p>\n

However, on the bright side, the higher DNI DOES make this a very profitable investment plan.\u00a0 So, if you are an adventurer, Biostry <\/a>might be the program for you.\u00a0 If you are a more conservative investor, the fact that Biostry <\/a>offers a very risky program might be a reason to stay away.<\/p>\n
