{"id":2051,"date":"2017-10-01T05:05:44","date_gmt":"2017-10-01T05:05:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/emilynews.com\/blog\/?p=2051"},"modified":"2017-10-02T03:58:22","modified_gmt":"2017-10-02T03:58:22","slug":"news-commentary-177-new-documentation-footballchange-prove-disprove-legitimacy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/emilynews.com\/blog\/?p=2051","title":{"rendered":"News Commentary #176 &#8212; Does New Documentation from FootballChange Prove or Disprove its Legitimacy?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Very Interesting &#8220;Documentation&#8221; from FootballChange.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Here at <em>Emily News<\/em>, we are constantly on the lookout for news items from HYIPs that we feature on our monitor.\u00a0 We like to keep our followers up to date on the latest from these programs.\u00a0 So, as I was perusing their websites a few days ago I happened on a news release from <a href=\"http:\/\/emilynews.com\/link.php?id=1137\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">FootballChange<\/a> entitled \u201cAdditional documents publicated.\u201d\u00a0 The brief release states:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Dear members of <a href=\"http:\/\/emilynews.com\/link.php?id=1137\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">FootballChange<\/a> family; Due to numbers of requests from our German&#8217;s promoters and investors we have decided to the public our official registration documents from 2012. From now on they can be found in the Legal Documents section. We would like to also invite you to watch a short company&#8217;s CEO speech. We wish you all the best FC Team &#8230;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Along with this brief note was a video speech by Will Thorton, the CEO of <a href=\"http:\/\/emilynews.com\/link.php?id=1137\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">FootballChange<\/a>.\u00a0 I\u2019ve actually forgotten what he said in the speech.\u00a0 But, a few things struck me about it.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/uShrjOte1ik\" width=\"480\" height=\"335\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>First, I suspect that one intent of the speech was to show us what a busy professional man Mr. Thorton is.\u00a0 Well, Mr. Thorton rarely looks at the cameraman; he is always looking somewhere else.\u00a0 Of course, he is READING his speech from some sort of out of view prompter.\u00a0 Isn\u2019t he capable of giving such a brief presentation \u201coff the cuff?\u201d\u00a0 After all, <a href=\"http:\/\/emilynews.com\/link.php?id=1137\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">FootballChange<\/a> is his life\u2019s work, right?\u00a0 Second, I have at many times in my life played the role of an administrator.\u00a0 Perhaps I am the exception; but, I have NEVER had a spotlessly clear desk like he has.\u00a0 He must have a very light workload!\u00a0 Please don\u2019t believe that the journal he\u2019s writing in the beginning of the video is for real.\u00a0 It\u2019s just a prop.\u00a0 But, so much for the video\u2026<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/emilynews.com\/link.php?id=1137\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.footballchange.com\/banners\/image\/9\" alt=\"Footballchange.com\" width=\"468\" height=\"60\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Then I decided to check out the \u201cLegal Documents\u201d section of the <a href=\"http:\/\/emilynews.com\/link.php?id=1137\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">FootballChange<\/a> website.\u00a0 At first glance these \u201cdocuments\u201d are impressive.\u00a0 Mr. Thorton received some coaching awards in 2008 and 2013.\u00a0 Is he still active in football?\u00a0 No one knows for sure.\u00a0 Then I looked at the legal documentation for the company.\u00a0 There is the typical \u201cCertificate of Incorporation of a Private Limited Company\u201d issued by the Registrar of Companies for England and Wales.\u00a0 It&#8217;s dated June 15, 2017.\u00a0 Hmmm.\u00a0 I thought this company was around long before that.\u00a0 THAT BRIEF NEWS RELEASE SAID THE COMPANY WAS INCORPORATED IN 2012!\u00a0 But, then I remembered that a very high percentage of HYIPs have such articles of incorporation.\u00a0 I no longer even look at them when reviewing a program because I know they are extremely easy to obtain and amount to NOTHING.\u00a0 And, Mr Thorton does what every other HYIP admin does on such documentation.\u00a0 The company is clearly a ONE MAN SHOW.\u00a0 The only officer in the company is Mr. Thorton &#8212; who is the sole director.\u00a0 He is also the only shareholder.\u00a0 No secretary?\u00a0 No treasurer?\u00a0 No other directors?\u00a0 My goodness, I have started a few very small non-profit corporations in the past and I at least had to have a few people listed in the articles of incorporation other than myself.<\/p>\n<p>There is a statement in the website along with these legal documents that says:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Due to it&#8217;s commercial activities, charity support and cooperation with independent entities representing our business, the company must be legally registered. Here we show the transparency of our company and encourage you to analyze our documents. If you have any questions, we are happy to answer them via our live chat support, email or phone either directly with a member of the board of directors or one of our competent staff. The legal documents page will be regularly updated with further certificates and legal documents necessary for further development of the company which is international in nature. We are currently awaiting official confirmation of the legal status of the company in China.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Well, this is interesting.\u00a0 Now, <a href=\"http:\/\/emilynews.com\/link.php?id=1137\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">FootballChange<\/a> has a Board of Directors &#8212; and a staff!\u00a0 The incorporation papers were finalized this past June.\u00a0 Was a Board of Directors put together after that?\u00a0 Were staff members hired after that?\u00a0 But, that\u2019s not all.\u00a0 The website even has very nice photos of the <a href=\"http:\/\/emilynews.com\/link.php?id=1137\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">FootballChange<\/a> staff.\u00a0 Aren\u2019t those deputy CEOs on the Board of Directors?\u00a0 Don\u2019t any of those staff members function as officers of the corporation that should be listed in the articles of incorporation?\u00a0 My goodness!<\/p>\n<p>I want to repeat that it is the policy of <em>Emily News<\/em> NOT to try to dig up dirt about an HYIP featured on its website.\u00a0 However, in the situation where a company makes a specific effort to deceive our readers, we feel that we must speak up.\u00a0 When an HYIP Admin brags about the virtues of his company and there are so many inconsistencies, we feel that it is our duty to point them out.\u00a0 That is the reason for this news commentary.<\/p>\n<p>By the way, I never got to trying to understand the new German documents that were published by <a href=\"http:\/\/emilynews.com\/link.php?id=1137\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">FootballChange<\/a>\u2026<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/emilynews.com\/link.php?id=1137\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.footballchange.com\/banners\/image\/9\" alt=\"Footballchange.com\" width=\"468\" height=\"60\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n*********************************<\/p>\n<p>If one of the paying programs on our Monitor appeals to you, please support <em>Emily News<\/em> by registering for it on our website.
