It&#8217;s hard to say yet, but you can already guess..<\/p>\n<p>I really hope that all price changes do not affect strong HYIP administrators with strong platforms, those who can remain stable regardless of what the price of bitcoin is today or tomorrow.<\/p>\n<p>And now, let&#8217;s check the news:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h4 class=\"post__title\">Outgoing SEC Chair Jay Clayton reveals what\u2019s driving the rise of BTC<\/h4>\n<div class=\"post__block post__block_lead-text\" data-v-5a136f3a=\"\">\n<p class=\"post__lead\" data-v-5a136f3a=\"\">Jay Clayton is stepping down from his role as SEC Chairman at the end of the year, but before going he wants to set the record straight on the SEC\u2019s opinion of Bitcoin.<\/p>\n<p>The outgoing SEC Chairman Jay Clayton, who oversaw the rejection of nine Bitcoin ETFs during his tenure, has told CNBC that \u201cinefficiencies\u201d in the current payments systems are continuing to drive the popularity of Bitcoin.<\/p>\n<p>Appearing on CNBC\u2019s Squawk Box\u00a0yesterday\u00a0Clayton, who is due to\u00a0step down\u00a0by the end of the year, confirmed his agency\u2019s general assessment that Bitcoin was not a security but a payment mechanism and store of value.<\/p>\n<p><blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">&quot;We determined that bitcoin was not a security, it was much more a payment mechanism and stored value,&quot; says SEC Chairman Jay Clayton on <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/btc?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#btc<\/a>. &quot;Our current payment mechanisms&#8211;have inefficiencies those inefficiencies are the things that are driving the rise of bitcoin.&quot; <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/3r1mxzfgpi\">pic.twitter.com\/3r1mxzfgpi<\/a><\/p>&mdash; Squawk Box (@SquawkCNBC) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/SquawkCNBC\/status\/1329420012080295939?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">November 19, 2020<\/a><\/blockquote> <script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>The chairman has been widely criticized by the Bitcoin community for keeping a tight rein on Bitcoin and cryptocurrency. However, during his years as SEC chair, Clayton was never a staunch opponent of Bitcoin in principle, but regularly\u00a0expressed his fears\u00a0that average investors could be subjected to unnecessary risk when investing in a Bitcoin ETF.<\/p>\n<p>This risk is due to the SEC\u2019s\u00a0perception\u00a0that the largely unregulated nature of some Bitcoin exchanges makes it too easy for the price of BTC to be manipulated. With Clayton out as SEC chair, some Bitcoin proponents\u00a0believe\u00a0the chance of a Bitcoin ETF being approved is now greater than ever.<\/p>\n<p>Clayton believes Bitcoin will continue to grow, while regulations evolve.<\/p>\n<blockquote>What we are seeing is that our current payment mechanisms, domestically and internationally, have inefficiencies. Those inefficiencies are the things that are driving the rise of Bitcoin&#8230; And we\u2019re gonna see more of that. We\u2019re gonna see this mature and we\u2019re gonna see more regulation around the digital payment space.<\/blockquote>\n<p>Clayton was the first member of the SEC to issue a\u00a0warning\u00a0about the potential pitfalls of ICO investing during the 2017 ICO craze, reminding the public that such products were usually regarded as securities offerings and\u00a0subject to the regulations accompanying them.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe did not regulate Bitcoin as a security,\u201d said Clayton, explaining that BTC was &#8220;much more a payment mechanism and stored value&#8221; than a security.<\/p>\n<blockquote>When people use crypto assets as securities to raise capital for a venture, the SEC regulates that. And what was happening in the ICO craze was people were using ICOs and essentially making offerings of public securities without registering them with the SEC.<\/blockquote>\n<p>Clayton was nominated for SEC Chair by President Donald Trump in January 2017 and is leaving the position as one of the agency\u2019s longest-serving chairs.
