The DogeX Investment Plan.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We recently published a \u201cFirst Thoughts\u201d article about DogeX<\/a>.  In it we included a complete description of the company\u2019s online investment plan.  Here\u2019s what we wrote in that article:<\/p>\n\n\n

For the investor, DogeX<\/a> offers one very easy-to-understand investment plan.  It has a minimum investment of .003 BTC and pays 3% interest per day \u2014 forever. It is what we refer to as a \u201cperpetual\u201d investment plan.  Unlike many plans of this type that appear online, you may withdraw some or all of your deposit at any time after your first interest accrual.  So, the plan is essentially the same as a normal bank savings account.  However, the interest that DogeX <\/a>pays you is obviously much much more than you can earn from any bank.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Let\u2019s first quickly determine how long it will take you to break even if you invest with DogeX<\/a>.  That\u2019s easy to do.  Just divide 100% by the 3% daily return to get 34 days. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next, let\u2019s determine the average daily net interest (DNI) that you will earn from this investment plan.  This is simply the total net interest that you will earn from the plan averaged out over the number of days in the plan.  Well, you can\u2019t determine this for a \u201cperpetual\u201d investment plan because you don\u2019t know the true length of the plan!  We all know that HYIPs don\u2019t last forever; their length is their lifetime,  So, the best we can do is determine the DNI for different assumed lifetimes for the investment plan.  Let\u2019s first assume that the program will break even and then determine the DNI for assumed lifetimes of 60, 120, 180, 240, 300, and 360 days. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beginning with 60 days, the total gross interest that you would receive in that period will be 60 times the daily gross interest of 3%, or 180%.  This includes your investment.  So, you must subtract 100% from it to get the total net interest that you will receive, or 80%.  Finally, averaging this out over the 60-day period, by dividing by 60, you get a DNI of 1.33%.  If you do this same arithmetic for the other assumed lifetimes for the program, you get the following results:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
