Roboton <\/a>(reviewed here<\/a>) just published an update informing us that they have moved their headquarters from Australia to Northern Ireland. \u00a0Apparently, this move won\u2019t influence the operation of the online operations of the company.\u00a0 However, the update is interesting to the investor who tries to ascertain the legitimacy of an HYIP.\u00a0 It claims that the company now has a registered capital of 10 million pounds (that\u2019s a lot!) and is now a registered corporation.\u00a0 A link to the corporation\u2019s registration documents is also given.\u00a0 Unfortunately, if you take the time to look through this documentation, you find that the corporation is the typical \u201cOne Man Show,\u201d characteristic of the typical online HYIP.\u00a0 It does not appear to be a real corporation with officers, an elected board of directors, etc.\u00a0 Perhaps I have this wrong?\u00a0 The article in HYIP Insights #17<\/a><\/em> describes this situation and you might find it informative if you are interested in investigating the legitimacy of HYIPs.<\/p>\n\n\n
