Analysis of the CryptoCera Investment Plans.

In our “First Thoughts” article about CryptoCera that appeared here in our blog a few days ago, we had the following to say about the program’s investment plans:

CryptoCera offers a total of six investment plans.  All of them return your deposit at the conclusion of the plan.  I would class them as short to, possibly, medium term plans with the shortest being only seven days long and the longest being 45 days long.  Minimum investments, at least for the first three plans, are reasonable and interest rates appear to be in the medium to high range.  You might even say that it is a single investment plan because your deposit determines the interest that you will receive.  Of course, there is much more to say about these investment plans and we will get into that when we review the program in detail a day or two down the road.

Let’s begin our analysis of the CryptoCera investment plans by repeating what is said about them in the website.  Here it is:

Plan #1
2% for 7 days
$1 – $199

Plan #2
2.5% for 14 days
$200 – $499

Plan #3
3% for 21 days
$500 – $2,499

Plan #4
4% for 28 days
$2,500 – $7,499

Plan #5
5% for 35 days
$7,500 – $14,000

Plan #6
6% for 45 days
$15,000 – $30,000

Since all these investment plans return your principal at their conclusion and assuming that the program won’t close before a plan ends, all of your earnings are pure profit.  And, since earnings are daily, we refer to them as daily net interest.  We abbreviate this as DNI.  DNI is a measure of both the profitability and sustainability of an investment plan.  We’ll return to this in the “Discussion” part of the review that follows shortly.

It is also useful to know the number of days for each of the investment plans will break even.  This is simple to determine as you only have to divide 100% by the daily interest that is paid by a plan.  For Plan #1, the number of days to break even would be 50 days (100/2).  However, since the plan is only seven days long, you won’t break even until the plan ends and your deposit is returned.  If you do this same calculation for all six of the investment plans, you will get the following results.  Notice that the first three plans will not break even until your deposit is returned at the end of the plan.  Just to put all this information in one place, I am also repeating what was in the previous listing (and am referring to the daily interest as DNI):

Plan #1
DNI = 2%
Plan Length = 7 days
Break Even = 7 days
$1 – $199

Plan #2
DNI = 2.5%
Plan Length = 14 days
Break Even = 14 days
$200 – $499

Plan #3
DNI = 3%
Plan Length = 21 days
Break Even = 21 days
$500 – $2,499

Plan #4
DNI = 4%
Plan Length = 28 days
Break Even = 25 days
$2,500 – $7,499

Plan #5
DNI = 5%
Plan Length = 35 days
Break Even = 20 days
$7,500 – $14,000

Plan #6
DNI = 6%
Plan Length = 45 days
Break Even = 17 days
$15,000 – $30,000

Discussion of the CryptoCera Investment Plans.

OK, now that we have the facts in front of us, let’s take a look at the pros and cons of the CryptoCera investment plans.

First of all, a good feature of the plans is that you receive earnings from “day one.”  An investment plan that pays you daily earnings is always superior to one that holds all your earnings till the plan ends.  In the first three plans, however, you must still wait till the end of the plans to receive part of your earnings.  The BEST type of investment plan is one that also returns your DEPOSIT as part of your earnings.  In this manner, you very quickly minimize your risk as the plan moves along.  Unfortunately, the CryptoCera investment plans make you wait till the end of the plan to recover your deposit.  So, from the point of view of your earnings and deposit being at risk, these investment plans are somewhere in the middle; they could be better and they could be worse.

Next, let’s take a look at DNI.  In HYIP Insights #12, we suggested that programs having investment plans with DNIs higher than 2% might have a hard time surviving in the long term.  If we’re right on this, the implication is that CryptoCera might have a hard time meeting its financial obligations to its investors as all of its investment plans offer 2% or higher DNIs.  However, it is important to emphasize that this is only our suggestion.  And, even though it is based on our experience watching HYIPs come and go over the course of many years, there have been notable exceptions — either way.  There have been programs having investment plans with high DNIs that somehow managed to survive for quite a long time while, on the other hand, there have been programs having investment plans with relatively low DNIs that have not.

Something GOOD about the CryptoCera investment plans is that the minimum investments required for Plans #4, #5, and #6 are rather high.  It is doubtful that many online investors will be willing to commit these levels of funding to an HYIP.  This will greatly decrease the potential financial obligation of CrytoCera to its investors and might be what it takes to enable the program to be a long-term survivor.  In fact, I suspect that the majority of investors will utilize Plans #1 and #2 for which the minimum investment is less than $500 — and for which the DNIs are 2% and 2.5%.  Again, this is great for survivability of the program.

But, what about profitability?  Well, this is a matter of opinion, I suppose.  However, 2% profit per day comes to almost 15% per week and 2.5% per day leads to a weekly income that is even more.  In my opinion, these are very respectable returns.  Unfortunately, as we already noted, none of these low interest investment plans will break even until the plan ends.

If you look closely at the numbers for the six investment plans, something that might catch your eye is that the two highest interest plans break even faster than Plan #3.  From this point of view, they are attractive.  However, as we already mentioned, the high initial investments required by these plans makes use of them extremely risky.

Conclusion.

CryptoCera offers six investment plans that all return your deposit at their conclusion.  Interest rates that are offered are rather high.  However, the highest interest plans also have high minimum investments which will probably minimize their use.  With use of the program confined to the lower interest investment plans, the chances for long-term survivability of the overall program should greatly increase.
